The History of Nigeria from about 1849 until it attained independence in 1960 is largely the story of the transformational impact of the British on the people and cultures of the Niger-Benue area. The colonial authorities who came to these parts of West Africa in the years between 1862 and 1960, sought to define, protect and realize their imperial interests. The British were in the Niger- Benue area pursuing their interests which were largely economic and strategic. Steps taken in these pursuits resulted in many unplanned for and by-products, one of which was the socio-political aggregation which is known today in international law as the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Come along as we explore the people, the culture, the languages and the country called NIGERIA.

Largest cab company owns no cars and employs no drivers. Largest hotel chain owns no buildings. New wave of enterprises reshaped how we buy but even more importantly allowed us to sell things we could not before. At the same time they upset large players by giving power back to masses. Wil sharing economy boost entrepreneurship? Or maybe we should ban it for the fear of destroying sable workplaces? The answer is neither easy nor obvious – but we will try to find it together!

dr Tomasz Kasprowicz, CFA, Vice-president of Res Publica Foundation, editor at Liberte! And Re Publica Nowa, entrepreneur, lecturer with experience on three continents.

Development as a non-linear, complex and unpredictable process is also based on the educational process. So, it can be said also, because of education the today world is characterized by poverty, social inequalities, pollution, climate problems s.o. In other words, education has not fully attained the ultimate goal, namely the fulfillment of the human being, but gave rise to opposite human behavior. In this regard, we propose a model of a new educational institution based on the paradigm of the health of the whole living entity. For this, the first step is the evaluation of the educational organization according to an aggregate indicator called AIUH, built on the paradigm of the health of the whole living entity. We believe that the future construction of the educational organization, no matter what it is called, school, high school or university, is a way for a better world.
