Anti-Slavery Day

Anti-Slavery day was one of the first events in the academic year 2022-2023 in the WSB UniversityThe event was presented by the student of the WSBU - Christian Ijeh. Originally from Nigeria, Christian has presented interesting facts and figures about the phenomena of Slavery on the African continent, uncovering history that rarely leaves the continent. The student has also talked about the modern-day slavery, which sometimes hides in plain sight and is a force to be dealt with by the generations to come.

The Anti-slavery Day was joined by the international experts such as Prof. Cameron McCarthy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Karol Kujawa, PhD, lecturer of the WSB University.

This was the first event out of the Series of the meetings which will commence throughout the year. Keep track of our events on our social media and on our main page!
