Desislava Dikova


Professor in International Business at Vienna University of Economics & Business (Austria).

 

Desislava Dikova is Professor in International Business CEE focus at Vienna University of Economics & Business. She previously held positions at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands and King's College London, the UK. She earned her doctorate degree from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, an Executive Master in International and European relations from the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands and a Master of Science in International Economics from the Academy of Economics D.A.Tzenov, Bulgaria.
Desislava Dikova is the Editor-in-chief of the Journal of East West Business (published by Taylor Francis) and has been a member of the editorial board of the Journal of International Business Studies since 2007 and serves as an ad hoc reviewer for multiple journals such as International Business Review, Thunderbird International Business Review, Organization Studies, Journal of Management Studies and others. For her outstanding research she has been awarded twice the Academy of Management Best Reviewer Award (2007, 2009), the 2009 WAIB Emerald Award for Highly Commended Paper, she has also been the Academy of International Business Best Paper Nominee in 2009, and the Academy of Management International Management Best Paper Finalist in 2006 and 2008.
Desislava Dikova's research is focused on the international behavior of multinational companies, she examines their foreign market entry mode choices and the subsequent performance of foreign subsidiaries in the CEE region. In addition, Dikova studies the competitive behavior of firms with respect to the types of innovation investments and their cross-border merger and acquisition activity. Her research has been published in highly ranked international journals such as the Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management Studies and International Business Review.

 

 

Michael A. Radin


Associate Professor of Mathematics, Rochester Institute of Technology, School of Mathematical Sciences (USA)


Michael Radin is an associate professor of mathematics at Rochester Institute of Technology and has been teaching for 23 years; 6 years as a doctorate students at the University of Rhode Island and 17 years at Rochester Institute of Technology.
In addition Michael has several years of international teaching experience. Teaching at the Aegean University on the Island of Samos in Greece during his first sabbatical during the spring 2009. Furthermore, Michael has vast teaching experience in several universities in Latvia during the second sabbatical during the spring 2016 semester and several summers. Teaching various courses as Introduction to Photography, conducting various seminars as Developing & Establishing International & Interdisciplinary Research Coalitions, conducting various research projects as Modeling Human Emotions, conducting various academic activities as Math Olympics in American Style, and participating and giving presentations as a keynote speaker as various conferences on topics as Communication with the Students outside the classroom & International Teaching & Learning.

 

Juan J. García-Machado


Professor of finance at the Department of Financial Economics, Accounting and Operations Management in the Faculty of Business Administration and Tourism, University of Huelva (Spain)

 

Juan J. García-Machado is full professor of finance at the Department of Financial Economics, Accounting and Operations Management in the Faculty of Business Administration and Tourism, University of Huelva (Spain).
Head of the Research Group in Management and Modelling of Organizations of the Andalusian Plan for Research, Development and Innovation of the Autonomous Government of Andalusia. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Seville in 1994. He has been Head of the Department, Director of several Doctoral Programmes, Member of Scientific Committees, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the XXVII Annual Conference of the European Academy of Management and Business Economics in 2013, and currently Member of the Senate of the University of Huelva. Lecturer and Visiting Professor at many universities in Spain, Portugal, Paraguay, Brazil, Mexico, Italy, Denmark, Poland, and United Kingdom. His research interests include, derivative financial markets, banking, financial crisis, risk measuring, online finance, agricultural derivatives, real options, and valuation of firms. His work has been presented in national and international conferences and has been published in refereed journals such as European Review of Management, Innovar Journal of Administrative and Social Sciences, Information Management and Computer Security, International Journal of Electronic Finance, European Research on Management and Business Economics, European Journal of Finance, International Research Journal of Finance and Economics and Spanish Securities Exchange Commission publications. He is a Fellow of the European Academy of Management and Business Economics and the Spanish Finance Association.
